ZONE:Tell us a bit about yourself Isabelle…Who you are?
ISABELLE: I am a very sweet loving person that is very driven in life,
that has a hunger for bodybuilding.
But there is a geek side to me too. I am very into computers, I am a book worm,
I love politics, and I love languages.
I speak Spanish, a bit of german, and working on latin.
I am also a very funny person that loves to get a good laugh even at the most serious moments.
I don't like to see people down, so I will run over to them and cheer them up.
I just simply love comedy.

I am looking forward to the contest this year because I will be
bringing a new package with lots of surprises.
I am also working torwards a pro card one day in female bodybuilding

ZONE:How did you got bit by the iron bug in the first place?

ISABELLE: To be honest the iron bug hit me really bad.
I never really liked bodybuilding. I was into soccer and track.
But soccer was my love I played it for nine years. I never lifted a weight.
When I played soccer it was a lot of running, and slide tackling.
I saw the guys working out at my school, but I really wasn't into the weighttraining thing.
Anyway, I was in a long term relationship for 4 years and the guy that
I was with really turned out to be a bad guy.
You know calling me names, and stuff like that.

At the time during my I met a bodybuilder chic one day
named Sonia Howel and she was huge. I was intimidated big time,
but at the same time I kinda liked it.
We worked at the same job, and I watched her all the time and she got all this attention.
I love attention.
I talked to her one day just bsing about training and she gave me a card,
and I kept lyng around. (good thing I did) Here is the turning point….
My boyfriend one day approached me and told me that I was a loser,
not allowed to have friends, and I was not going to get anywhere in life.
At the time I was working and trying to work torwards my degree in marine biology.
Well it was terrible, he hit me and it turned out really ugly.
I could not believe what was happening to me.
I was very depressed and finally I was fed up and I broke up with him.
I realized he was very controlling of my life. I was not allowed to hang with friends,
I couldn't wear dresses, I had to cover up all the time, etc.
I couldn't be me, plain and simple The guy was just very pathetic and I let him get to me.
Well not anymore, I found Sonias card one day and finally called her about training.
I wanted to do something different, something new,
something that was going to give me a challenge.
Sonia took me under her wing. I told her I would like to give bodybuilding a try.
She was very excited to help me.
I was nervous I had absolutely no idea hat I was about to get myself into.
I will never forget what she told me" this is forever going to change yor life" and it did,
and here I am now.
Bodybuilding was the most exciting experience that I ever encountered.
It was so different. I really loved what I had become, and achieved.

It made me stronger mentally and it gave me a peace of mind.
Oh and I can't forget about the sweet attention from people.
The one thing that aggravates me is people saying that "I can't do it"
I like to think positive and say in my mind that I can.
Because anybody can do anything that they put there mind too. And it is so true.

ZONE: what is the best part of this sport?
ISABELLE: 1. Meeting Prob bodybuilders that you have looked up as role models
2. Making lots of friends
3. the attention
4. we all know what it takes to do what we do training, discipline, THE DIET

ZONE:And the worst part?
ISABELLE: Worst part I would say is that female bodybuilding is not
getting enough attention as it should,

ZONE: And what about your training?
ISABELLE: My training kicks ass hard and heavy,
No complaints except for leg day when I can't walk!

ZONE: Who is your rolemodel and inspiration through the years?
ISABELLE: I have several role models……
Kim Chizevsky , Mrs. Olympia, took female bodybuilding to a new level by her beauty,
style and gracefulness and that she went bodybuilding to fitness,
proving that anything is possible. She is awesome.
Arnold Schwarzenegger. because he is very dedicated and determined
and he doesn't let anything get in his way.
He came here with nothing and went to being a very successful bodybuilding
to a successful actor and now Govenor of California. All I can say is WOW.

ZONE:Whats the future Plans for Isabelle?
ISABELLE: Bring a new package in 2005, and hopefully one day get a procard.
Get more into my acting career, and be very happy.
