ZONE:Tell us abit about yourself
Eva!
EVA: I'm a mother of two beautiful kids and my family
is the most important in my life.
I have worked as an IT-consultant for many years but lost my job three years
ago,
that's then I stated building muscles. I needed to have a challenge.
ZONE:How did you got bit by the iron bug?
EVA: I think that I have always loved muscles but didn't
prioritise
building until I had the time
ZONE:What is the best part of this sport?
EVA: To feel strong and look great
ZONE:And the worst part?
EVA:Other peoples attitudes

ZONE:What is your diet like?
EVA: I believe that you always have to eat well to feel
good
and to get the most out of your training.
The only deferens before a contest is that I cut down on fat and the amount
of food.
This is what I eat:
Fish, shrimps, tuna, chicken, eggs and red meat with salads
and vegetables.
I use oil for cooking, peanuts for snacks.
The only complex carbohydrates I eat are oatmeal for breakfast and sometimes
whole-wheat bread.
This I don't eat:
Diary products, sugar, almost no complex carbohydrates like pasta, rice, potatoes
and soft bread.
ZONE:And what about your training. Offseason & before a show?
EVA: I train my whole body once a Week divided at 4 times.
4 sets with 8 reps and 3 or 4 different exercises on each muscle group.
The only exception is the abs witch I train two times a week.
Monday - Chest/shoulders/stomach
Tuesday - Legs/calves
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - Arms
Friday - Back/abs
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - Rest
To keep my metabolism high I walk one hour before brekfast three times
a week and do one hour of dance aerobic a week
Before a competition I walk or bicycle one or two hours per day.
ZONE:Where do you think most people go wrong before a show?
EVA: Nerves, not cool enough to stick to the original
plan

ZONE:Who is your bigest inspiration & rolemodell thru
the years?
EVA: Cants say that I have any particular rolemodell but
there are
women who have inspired me, such as Sandy Riddle, Christine Roth,
Aurélia Grozajová, Michelle Andrea
ZONE:Future plans?
EVA: I will compete as long as I think its fun but never
stop training
