ZONE:Tell us abit about yourself Linn..who are you?
LINN:Well I guess Iīm pretty stubborn.
My mum has warned all my bodyfriends about that, so it must be true :-)
Iīm also very goal-oriented.
If there is something I really want to do then I go through with it no
matter what.
I like challenges! My relation to bodybuilding is the strongest relation
I have ever had.
That makes me even more convinced this is what I wanna to do.
ZONE:How did you got bit by the iron bug in the
first place?
LINN:It
all begun at the local gym. I was overweight and didnīt feel comfortable
with myself.
So the main reason was to loose weight, and it worked since I didnīt eat
much at all.
I read a lot about training and diet, but the part about eating
(especially fat) just passed through my head.
Then I found B&K and was really fascinated by the muscle bodies.
I thought to myself "Thatīs the way I want to look!"
My mum was surprised when I suddenly started to eat up all the food,
and she had to go to the store more often, sometimes twice a day! :-)

ZONE:What is the best part of this sport?
LINN:Itīs all up to you! You canīt blame anyone but yourself if you fail.
When you do succeed donīt forget all the people you owe a thanks.
ZONE:And the worst part?
LINN:People
who doesnīt accept our sport, because of some stupid reason.
But if itīs family or friends you can (with a little bit of talent) turn
them around ;-)
ZONE:What is your diet like? Both offseason & before
a show?
LINN:I
start my diet about six month before a show, to make sure to get in good
shape.
I cut down on carbohydrates and eat more protein and fat.
A lot of meat, chicken, rice, oil and vegetables.
I reduce the calories slowly but always depending on how my diet goes.
The last weeks I eat only protein and fat. Offseason I eat about the same
but more.
I have done the mistake of gaining a lot of weight after a
contest and itīs nothing I would recommend.
Iīm satisfied if I can stay in OK shape, and for me that doesnīt mean
defined muscles.
Even if you are (as I am) very found of food, it must show that you are
a bodybuilder, right?!
ZONE:And what about your training. Offseason & before
a show?
LINN:I
train five to six days a week year around.
Iīve just learned that I have to lower the repetition, I tend to do to
many.
Maybe Iīve just found the way to grow ;-)
Before a contest I try to do/train something every day.
I walk at least an hour, often more, every morning from the beginning
of my diet.
I try to train hard as long as I can.
I do a lot of low-intensive cardio during my diet, at least 30 minutes
every day and if itīs necessary I increase it.

ZONE:Where do you think most people go wrong before
a show?
LINN:I
think itīs pretty common for people to get desperate and try to
experiment with things at the end of their diet. Thatīs only stupid.
The >chance of failing is bigger than to succeed. Stick to the plan.
ZONE:Who is your bigest inspiration & rolemodell
thru the years?
LINN:There
is many great bodybuilders in Sweden who has inspired me.
Mostly men as a matter of fact,
but if I have to mention a female bodybuilder it would be Helene Hoby.
ZONE:Future plans?
LINN:To
live out my passion for bodybuilding... and to get a job Iīm happy with.
