ZONE:Tell us abit about yourself you traing & how
you ended up living in England..

NEHME:Well u know zone..at first i started training to improve my
already good physique..ive been involveved in different sports
all my life at a very high level..when i began university i dindnt have as much time
to train on given hours etc. so i had to find a sport or activity
that would give me the challenge i needed and also the satisfaction
of getting something done..bodybuilding was the perfect choice...
when i graduated from the university..there was a great demand of dentists in the uk..
also they had better salaries than sweden...
A year earlier i saw Dorian guestpose at SM 97 and I remember going up to him
and asking if anyone could come and train at his gym in birmingham...
he said yes of course...I decided later that Iwould combine my work
and training by moving to B'ham and work there and train in temple gym
where my biggest idol Dorian yates trained!
Later on we became very good friends and we still are very close
outside the gym and he has helped me out alot in diffrent areas of my life...
but thats another story to be told in my book.....he he he....
ZONE:How did you got bit by the iron bug & when
did you first get involved in competition?

NEHME:I started training and started geting pretty good results after my first year
thats how I got bitten and realized this is what i want to do for the rest of my life...
there was no turning back...thats how I am..
if I like something and Im good at it..I will persue it all the way...
it came natural to me to try to diet for a show..i dint really know alot back then
and I was up against guys far more experienced than me...
but the funny thing is >that year after year not only did i catch up with them
but ive blown a few of them away and passed them in progress...
very satisfying...and that just shows that this sport to me is about the long run...
I wanna be here in my 50s,60s and hopefully still looking good
competing and setting an example for others to follow.

ZONE:What is the best part of this sport?
NEHME:That you do this for youself...
I mean its all about you..of course you need the support of friends and family...
but the main person is you...you decide where and what you want to do...
you take the credit for it...of course and the blame...
but the main thing is that you are the player and the coach...
you rely on yourself to get the job done..i like that.
ZONE:And the worst part?
NEHME:unfortunatly in all sports that the athletes are judged by others
its not allways going to be fair...
Most of the time they get it right but a lot of times they dont..
but you just have to learn to live with it...
if you done your homework and done your best to be at your best then job is done...
Its very hard to accept it but thats life..it aint fair and it aint easy...
plus there is alot of jealousy and envy and politics
as some may call it that come in to play as well.
ZONE:What is your diet like? Both offseason & before a show?
NEHME:I eat pretty much the same.
Itend to eat pretty clean in the offseason nowadays...
I just eat more of it...
but of course ill have what I want when I want it if Im not on a diet...
but i try not to overdo it...
other than that its the usual foods...no secret stuff here.
ZONE:And what about your training, Offseason & before a show?
NEHME:Same thing here training pretty much the same...
precontest I add more finetuning exersises like more cables...
and do higher reps and more isolation to bring more detail...
and i also do cardio twice everyday precontest
instead of 3 times a week in the off season.
but basicly for me there is no "off-season" as Im allways trying to
improve and add more size etc.
I would rather call it a different phase of my contest prep...
u know a year goes by very fast..there is no time to be off if you want to
improve for the following year...and taking a year off will make you lazy.
ZONE:Where do you think most people go wrong before a show?
NEHME:Difficult to say...there are many areas where someone can go wrong...
Everybodys diffrent...obviously overdieting or simply not dieting long enough
will cause the biggest problems..but i think listening to different kind of people
and so called experts will only cause confusion and probably lead to somekind of fuck up.....
keep it simple....thats the best thing to do.

ZONE:Who is your bigest inspiration & rolemodell thru the years?
NEHME:My biggest inspiration in bodybuilding is no doubt Dorian!
Ive had the pleasure to become a very good friend with him
and we have had many good times together...
He met my family and they all love him....
He helped me alot in changing my outlook on life...
He is not only my biggest inspiration but he is one of my closest and best friend
...and you know what, we hardly ever talk about bodybuilding anymore...
We hang out and talk about our life, family, travelling,
our relationships and everything else but bodybuilding...
But that is probably because i was asking him about everything the first
2 years when we met he he he...
I probably did his head in back then...sorry D!
ZONE:Future plans?
NEHME:To be the best Ii can be and to develop my physique to its full potential...
I have a long way to go..and I will enjoy the whole muthafukin ride baby!!
And also to be sucsessful in life in general...get my own family soon...
u know and just keep on rollin baby........
