I first met Wanja at the gym when I was
training real early one morning...
I was amazed at this classy ladys condition &
how heavy she was training...
After finding out that shes turning 67 this year
I was brutaly shocked to say the least!!
You see Wanja is not only a beautiful lady with lots of class
she also got the veins at her biceps & cut abs as well!
Wanja was born in Luleå in the northern part of Sweden in 1936!
She moved down to Gävle when she was 20 & was
working at a bank & was also a modell.
She was not into any athletic activity back then,
but at the age of 37 she started to run & at
46 she started to lift weights but only once a week...
At the tender age of 50 she run her first marathon!
Some said to her that it was to late to start to train so late in life...
Boy was they wrong or what?!!!
After she got hit by a car she stopped the longdistance running
& started to dance instead.
She was actually a dancer in the movie Black-jack!
Last year she started to train more & today she
is training 4days/week....HARD & HEAVY!
Besides the weight training Wanja does one bodypump workout
& run one Swedish mile every week...always on an empty stomach!
And ofcourse she got her dancing too!
Not bad for being a grand mother huh?!!
When I asked why she is traing on this level she says-
Its fun, it gives me a rush & its never wrong to have a nice body
to
put the clothes on!!
We love you Wanja!
Its ladys like you that makes us realise
that age realy is just a number!
